ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT

The accessibility of websites and mobile applications in the public sector involves a set of principles and techniques that must be applied when designing, building, maintaining, and updating websites and mobile apps, ensuring equality and non-discrimination in access, especially for people with disabilities and the elderly.

Royal Decree 112/2018, of September 7, on the accessibility of public sector websites and mobile applications establishes the following minimum requirements:

  1. The websites and applications of obligated entities must be accessible to their users, particularly older people and those with disabilities, ensuring that their content is perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust, in accordance with the standards of Article 6.
  2. Accessibility will be fully integrated into the design, management, maintenance, and updating of website and application content.
  3. Entities will adopt measures to exceed the minimum required level of accessibility whenever possible.

No issues were found in the diagnostic conducted across all pages.

The accessibility review by the Web Accessibility Observatory is conducted using an automatic methodology specifically developed for this observatory. This methodology considers only 20 accessibility checks, each consisting of several automatically performed verifications.

The methodology, using the UNE 139803:2012 standard (WCAG 2.0), was approved by the State Administration's Website Working Group and the "Observatory, Indicators and Measures" Group of the Sectoral Committee on Electronic Administration (regional and local governments).
